During the first complete statement cycle following the month the account is opened, you must:

  • Have at least one direct deposit of $500 or more posted and cleared to the new account

Direct deposits do not include internal transfers, transfers from an individual using online banking, or an internet payment provider (e.g., PayPal). Deposits made with a teller or ATM are not considered direct deposits.
